Abelia Hopleys (アベリア＝ホープレイズ, Aberia Hōpureizu) is a student of Makoto Misumi in the Rotsgard Academy. After graduating, she is planning to work at the Kuzunoha Company and training as a spy.

History[]
Being a commoner from Gritonia who entered Rotsgard Academy on a scholarship, Abelia tends to avoid saying her last name, since she shares it with another student who is a noble from Limia, Ilumgand Hopleys.
Present[]
She joins Makoto's class without much expectation. However, she ends up being a regular student due to a mixture of admiration for Makoto's power and romantic attraction to Shiki.
With Makoto's training, Abelia grows stronger to the point that she easily defeats Ilumgand even when she was trying to hold back. However, at the academy tournament she is unable to defeat Sif and her spirit magic.
When Ilumgand turns into a Variant monster at the end of the tournament, Abelia is the one who manages to finish it off using an arrow enchanted with Sif's full fire spell, something that both Mio and Shiki consider a risky move.
Powers & Abilities []
In the beginning, her skills were like a Jack-of-all-trades’ and master-of-none. Thanks to Makoto's exhaustive classes, she and her classmates became the strongest students in the academy.
Her abilities basically revolves around skills, magic, and using a bow. Fire is her strongest magical element.
