Emma (エマ, Ema) is the secretary of Makoto Misumi who acts as the supervisor of Asora.

Ema is the daughter of the chief of the Highland Orcs whose village has been sacrificing members believing that it was to pacify a Greater Dragon, but what they did not know was that the Greater Dragon was sleeping, in actuality, a group of Demons were taking the sacrifices.
Chronology[]
Emma offers herself as sacrifice, but her fortune changed in the encounter with Makoto Misumi who saved her from a Rizur. Emma gives him asylum in her village and also teaches him the basics of magic. After Makoto frees her people by eliminating the demons and making a pact with Tomoe, Emma and the rest of the orcs become his followers and move with them to Asora.
Ema is sort of like a governor secretary for Makoto as well as someone dependable with magic to be one of the most skilled in Asora. She has shown great organizational skills and management that makes her indispensable and interested advisors to Makoto and the leadership of Asora. Furthermore, she’s been entrusted with educating the leader of Kaleneon, Eva Aensland. She has a serious demeanor that has caused her to have a great annoyance towards a certain race.

Ema is skilled in magic and considered one of the strongest magic users in Asora. Her skill was further enhanced after receiving numerous refined Arias from Makoto.

Relationships[]
- Makoto Misumi: For Ema, Makoto is the messiah that saved her and her family, the Highland Orcs. On top of that, he invited them to a prosperous and magnificent world. She considers him as an existence close to God. Even if his speech and conduct is hard to change, there are times when his low stance attitude is not amusing for Ema. Even if he explained to her that, that was how he was brought up, and it can’t be helped, she understood it, but couldn’t accept it. She even thinks that it should be fine for him to be a bit haughtier. (WN 110)
