Appearance[]

Sofia bulga-1

First general appearance, by Sofia bulga

She has bangs that cover her right side, so only one of her eyes can be seen. She has blue hair, as well as unruly platinum-colored hair with red highlights. Overall, she has an attractive warrior's body and a beautiful face, inheriting traits from the beauty of the Hyumans.

Her first general outfit features a lion's mane in the form of a coat that covers her neck, connected with a clasp that holds a purple gem in the center. The rest of her body is covered in a hybrid armor-bikini, which covers and protects her breasts and the sides of her ribcage. She wears golden armor with black fabrics, which cover her arms from the shoulders to the hands. Her abdomen is partially exposed, and she wears short pants tied with a brown leather strap, supported by cloth and a long purple cape with gray tufts of fur. The cape and fabrics extend from Sofia's waist to her heels. She also wears boots and metal protectors that cover her from her thighs to her feet.

Personality[]

Sofia was a violent and short-tempered woman, often driven by her desire for power and challenging fights. She believed that attaining strength was all that mattered and had no qualms about how she achieved it.

After having her mind altered by Root, Sofia is now a caring woman who wants to fight monsters in order to keep people safe.

History[]

While investigating some old facilities of a house in the forest, accompanied by a young Jin Rohan, Sofia while carrying her name "Miranda" faced a chimera mutation on her own, managing to defeat it in the process of savage and bloodthirsty force, only to leave her childhood village without saying anything.

She become an adventurer who received the rank of SSS in honor of defeating one of the Greater Dragons, Lancer. Sofia was given the title "Dragon Slayer" afterward. However, it is revealed that she has a contract with Lancer and gets along within the Demon Territory as a vice general under General Rona.

Present[]

She had a great battle with the follower of the Goddess and met Makoto, as she is the person the Goddess wanted him to help deal with. The first encounter was in her favor at first, even allowing her to injure Makoto. But as the battle progressed, she found herself unable to harm him any further. She was later forced to escape his deadly attack when he destroyed one of his rings, creating a massive explosion that destroyed the fortress, leaving behind only a lake.

Shortly after that, Sofia and Lancer continued on their way, searching for other Greater Dragons to defeat and incidentally hunting down Kuzunoha while trying to hide part of her identity from the demons and General Rona. During their trip, Sofia and Lancer managed to defeat two more dragons, which Sofia then absorbed into her body, gaining their powers in the process. Some time later, they returned to Rona in preparation to execute the plan to invade the human countries.

By the time the Demons executed their attack strategy, involving blockade, distraction, and chaos against the Rotsgard Academy, the Gritonia Empire, and the Limia Kingdom, Sofia and Lancer were prepared for the possibility of encountering Kuzunoha (known as the "Diablo"). Sofia took the opportunity to test her new powers and abilities against the hero of Gritonia, Iwatashi Tomoki. Shortly after, Sofia jumped onto the dragon where Tomoki and his companions were riding, spoke with them for a while, and then began to attack Tomoki's group. He tried to charm Sofia, but it didn't work on her. Afterward, Sofia damaged one of the dragon's wings, forcing Tomoki's group to land, and then she began to fight against Tomoki and his girls.

At first, Sofia allowed herself to be immobilized and let Tomoki and his girls attack her with their most powerful attacks and magical spells, but none of them affected Sofia. She claimed that their attacks were impressive but not powerful enough to create a lake. Shortly after, Sofia began to fight back against Tomoki's group, eventually defeating them and then torturing Tomoki in a bloodthirsty manner, cutting him with her sword while he could only regenerate and endure the damage.

Sofia felt disappointed in Tomoki and insulted him, questioning whether he was supposed to be a hero. She then demanded that Tomoki show her his most powerful attack, which he refused despite Sofia threatening his companions. After that, Lancer arrived, and Sofia asked him to transport Tomoki's girls back to the empire so that Tomoki could use his most powerful attack. Lancer agreed and teleported the girls away. Tomoki then launched his strongest magical attack, called "Nuke," causing a huge explosion. However, Sofia emerged unharmed, claiming that while the damage was deadlier and more dangerous than the magic arrow Kuzunoha shot at her in the past, it still wasn't enough.

Sofia then met with Lancer, discussing Tomoki's devastating magical attack. Lancer asked if Tomoki was dead, and Sofia replied that he wasn't, noting the attack's interesting effects. After reporting the events to Rona, Sofia and Lancer saw the light of the Goddess heading towards Limia, where the heroine Hibiki was fighting. Sofia prepared herself once again, anticipating another encounter with Kuzunoha.

During their second encounter, Sofia was completely unable to penetrate Kuzunoha's defense and attack. She launched herself at Kuzunoha, invoking a magical chant involving three dragons, hoping to kill him in the process. However, she only managed to break part of his helmet, forcing Kuzunoha to reveal his identity in front of Io and Rona. After a brief exchange, Sofia attacked Kuzunoha again but could not cause any damage, even with the power absorbed from the other dragons she defeated, nor even in her "Transformed" state, due to Kuzunoha's powerful "Armor solid mana avatar." Kuzunoha, on the other hand, managed to cause serious damage to Sofia.

As the fight dragged on and Sofia became more and more seriously injured, she tried to insult and enrage Kuzunoha by comparing him to the hero of Gritonia. Kuzunoha laughed, amazed at Sofia's comments about the hero. Without realizing it, Sofia had finally fallen under the charm of the hero of the Gritonia Empire. Frustrated and doubting herself, Sofia realized this and became even more enraged.

Kuzunoha offered to free her from the charm, but Sofia furiously told him to shut up. She continued fighting but achieved nothing other than getting closer to an inevitable defeat and humiliation. Exhausting all her strength, Sofia used a powerful magical technique, triggered by feeling Lancer being killed by one of Makoto's followers. As her technique failed to do any damage and she was severely wounded, she managed to escape, only to meet Root, who was waiting for her. After a brief exchange, Root presumably killed her, but it was later revealed that she survived.

After some time, she was encouraged by Root to meet with Makoto and began to admire him and the Kuzunoha Company. She now cooperates with the Kuzunoha Company as a member of the Adventurer's Guild and as the daughter of the guild master.

Powers and Abilities[]

As an adventurer, she is very skilled with swords and magic, proving that her level of skill is not just for show. She gained more power through her contract with Lancer and defeating Lyca, Doma, and Azuma, absorbing their power.

Physical abilities[]

(To be filled)

Swordsmanship[]

Sofia - Swordsmanship of childhood

Sofia/Miranda VS Mutant Chimera[1].

From her young childhood, Sofia began to excel in swordsmanship, managing to face many monsters on her own.

Later, when she entered adulthood as an adventurer, Sofia's swordsmanship development grew to well-developed and strong levels, which combined with a ferocious savage style and inherited strength, she managed to defeat strong beings, such as the Greater Dragons, which gave her the title and nickname of "Dragon Slayer".

Magic[]

Sofia possessed great magical power, being inherited from Root's blood, as a hybrid of a human and Dragon blood, which gave her great magical abilities to combat.

Greater Dragon Powers Absorbed[]

Having defeated and absorbed the power of several Greater Dragons (4 in total), Sofia acquired the ability to use her characteristic abilities and powers efficiently, in her belief that if she absorbed all the Superior Dragons, she would be able to confront and defeat them. Root, his progenitor, among the powers he acquired include:

  • Akari: This dragon's power grants Sophia the strongest offensive power and fire magic of the greater dragons, with an magic/breath attack reminiscent of a laser.
  • Bakufu: Sofia gained the healing and defense ability of the water dragon, (-) which allows her to heal serious damage to her body, both externally and at the level of internal organs, and at the same time heal whoever she wants, like Lancer. As a defensive power, Sofia's defenses increased strongly, allowing her to escape unscathed from the attack "Nuke"of the Hero Tomoki . And she also gained an stronger affinity for water magic.
  • Yomatoi: Through this dragon's power, sofia is able to use dark magic and teleport through shadows.
  • Lancer: By defeating Lancer, and making a pact/contract with him, Sofia gained the ability to exchange positions from one place to another, with the pillar blades, which Lancer created from which angle and position available, either from the ground or from the air.
    • Sofia wielding a Katana.

      Sofia "transformed", wielding a Katana.

Swords: She managed to manifest the magic swords that Lancer/Mitsurugi had created from the strong adventurers and heroes who challenged the dragon and lost the fight. She is limited to using only one or two of these powerful Dragon swords, but this allows her to greatly increase the damage level of her swordsmanship. Among the many swords that Sofia has used, she managed to wield a katana for a time, belonging to a human (apparently named Grant), which Lancer/Mitsurugi kept as the most powerful and strongest secret weapon in his "Prison of Swords." By using it, Sofia gained great power and raw strength, as if she were evolving into a new being. Even though the weapon was "incomplete" and had no name, it was enough to break Makoto's "Solid Mana Avatar", even when reinforced with his Kai (Special Ability).
    • Sofia vs Misumi Makoto - Prision of Swords

Sofia imprisons Makoto, inside the isolated space of Lancer/Mitsurugi.[2]

Prison of Swords: When Lancer's main body died, Sofia completely absorbed his power, gaining his strength and the ability to summon and use his subspace. This subspace allows her to transport whoever she likes into a closed and isolated environment, separate from the real world. This ability is her trump card and the most powerful technique Sofia can use. Thanks to it, she managed to defeat two Superior Dragons with Lancer's help, gaining tremendous strength from each of the swords within the created space. Each sword within the enclosed realm maintains a constant latent force of the beings converted into swords. Although Sofia typically handles only two swords at a time, this does not pose any problem for her. However, a weak point of this ability is that if the swords are destroyed, the strength and power granted by them gradually disappear, weakening whoever manipulates the space—whether Sofia or Lancer. Until now, Makoto was the only human to see, understand, and defeat Sofia using this ability.

Transformation[]

Sofia Bulga - Transformation - -2

Sofia Bulga is "transformed" to fight.[3]

Sofia has the ability to transform her body into an improved draconic, scaly version of herself, greatly enhancing her physical and magical abilities as well as her basic senses. She gained this magical ability by absorbing the power and bodies of several Superior Dragons after her first encounter and defeat against Makoto near the Battle of Stella's Fort.

When transformed, Sofia gains greater attack and defense strength, and she can draw upon and utilize more of the magical power of the Greater Dragons she has absorbed. However, a secondary effect of this transformation is that the more she uses the dragon powers, the more she begins to merge with the magic of these beings. Therefore, she chooses to transform only as a last resort, when she wants to fight to the death or survive. Makoto is the only one who has ever forced her to transform.

Current State[]

In her current child form, she is shown to exhibit strength and skill with a sword beyond her years.

Relationships[]

  • Lancer: They seem to have a good relationship Master/servant contract wise.
  • Root: She seems to have great anger towards Root, possibly because of a human ancestor and Root. After the finishing blow, she comes back changed and has a good family relationship as Root's daughter. Completely unaware of the change that Root has done to her physically and mentally.
  • Makoto Misumi: Her first meeting with him occurred when she mistakenly believed he was sent by the Goddess, prompting her to attack him. He was forced to retaliate, resulting in the creation of a large lake. Their second encounter happened when Makoto sought to confront him again, leading to the destruction of Fort Stella and significant damage to the castle. She admires him as the strongest, influenced by Root's description of him. Due to her lack of prior memories, she remains completely unaware of their past connections. She has since returned to being a member of the Adventurer’s Guild and now participates in the cooperation between the Adventurer’s Guild and the Kuzunoha Company.
  • Tomoki Iwahashi: She thinks of him as one of the tools for her achievements. After the event with Root and Makoto, she didn't have the same goals.
  • Jin Rohan: Childhood friend.

Trivia[]
